‘Fresh Start Tatto Removal Program ’ began around 2004 as a response to a specific patient need in Dr. Ores’ Lower East Side practice - people who are burdened by unwanted tattoos from their past lives.
Since then, ‘Fresh Start’ has serviced hundreds of individuals traumatized, or facing otherwise significant barriers presented by their unwanted tattoos.
Fresh Start was associated with the Administration for Children’s Services in New York to be a participating provider for their voluntary program designed to help SURVIVORS of human trafficking, and ex-gang members with tattoo removal. To remove one of the barriers to better employment.
